Creative Marketing Solutions
Raised in the heart of England, I could not have been further from the coast, so when university years arrived, I headed straight for the south coast of Bournemouth which boasted one of the best media courses in the country, and here I stayed. Meeting my wife not long after graduation, we have grown our family to four with our amazing little boy Joseph, and our slightly mad dog Happy.
GRID Design was always a dream of mine from early on at University, and after gaining several valuable years commercial experience, the time was right to launch and I have enjoyed every part of watching the company grow and deliver excellent levels of service throughout the last decade.
I love working with our clients, building strong and personal relationships which allows us to be more effective in understanding needs, and also understanding our clients businesses which is essential for effective marketing.
Q: Out of work, what do you get up to?
A: I love playing most sports, especially golf. I enjoy taking long walks with my family and dog along the Dorset coast line, and of course the necessary stop at the pub for a light refreshment. I would like to say I read a lot, but not from book, the internet seems to be the new book these days, and often get lots in random posts and sites gaining insight into you technologies and ideas for marketing solutions... it never stops.
Q: What is your favourite holiday?
A: Simple answer is all, holidays are a must, when we work as hard as we all do these days, time to relax and unwind is essential. If I had to be specific, skiing is always a favourite of mine, and generally holidays where I am doing physically or experiential activities.
Q: Best and worst bits about you?
A: Best bits I would have to say is
being an excellent dad, easiest job I have ever done, seems to be very natural.
I believe I am a very loyal and trustworthy friend, but guess my mates would
have to back this up ;o).
I am also a very fair and flexible person to work with, and my team never lets
me down as a result.
Worst bits about me would be working
too hard, but this comes with the turf. Oh and I really am terrible at karaoke,
so please don't ask me to sing.
Q: Your ideal job would be if...?
A: Professional golfer for sure, this seems like the ideal life style, outdoors, sun and a caddy to carry the load.
Q: Why GRID Design?
A: It is partly a job/career, but also my passion, I love design, creativity and marketing and always have, so this industry was always where I wanted to work. GRID Design has allowed me the flexibility and support to achieve what was once a dream, but this is only the beginning, so let’s see what the next decade brings.
