Project requirements: Complete site design and build. Working with the existing printed brochure and brand we design and developed the entire website using Joomla Open Source content management software. With many key bespoke features and complex integration of flash image galleries, jQuery display functions and multiple varied instances of Google Map with full API integration. The end product evolved during the development into a high impact site and very user friendly.

• W3C XHTML and CSS standards.

• Secure password protected members area
• Expandable text size in line with accessibility guidelines
• Table less design structure using only DIVs and CSS
• Full Joomla CMS integration with bespoke components
• Google Map API integration and display

El Gourmet is a fully interactive new online guide, aimed at the discerning food lover who is looking for that special fine dining experience within the Dorset and Hampshire region. We aim to introduce users to a gastronomic experience on their doorstep, whilst enticing them to travel further a field in search of the best food in the area.
